Dear A & W:

     Your food is fantastic. So many places I go have greasy burgers or ridiculous buns. A&W obviously takes pride in its food presentation and its image.


     I remember growing up and going to A&W family days at a nearby location. I always wondered how you were able to tame the bear. My father used to joke that the Root Beer worked as some sort of inhibitor. This wound up blowing up in his face a few years later when I tried offering root beer to a bear when we were camping. We went to watch them at the local dump and I guess I thought if one bear could be tamed by the power of the root, well then surely another could too. Luckily the supervising ranger stopped me before I got too close.

     Anyway, my twin nieces (Cali and Cherish) are having a birthday in just under two months, and I know they can't wait for their annual A&W lunch with Uncle NAME USED. Without any children of my own, I've tried to spoil them with enough A&W treats to ensure they are long standing customers. Like me.

     Please write back when you receive this letter. It is always nice to know that companies are taking the time to review feedback.
