Dear Sir Or Madam,

I have been a user of Maxell Video tapes (the gold series) for the past six years of my life. Whenever I use Maxell, I know I am taping top quality programs on a top quality tape. I recently purchased a three-pack of blank Maxell tapes and discovered a bit of an issue.

Before I use your tapes to record programs, I always check to make sure the tape has nothing but static recorded onto it. Well, when I checked this recent pack of tapes I found the whole series of Degrassi High on them. In fact, the first tape I put in had the episode where Wheels attempts to hitchhike to see his dad's band (but gives up for fear of being molested by the driver).

A friend of mine (his name is Stacy) suggested I write you a letter about my recent find. I am not asking that your company compensate for the tapes; I am merely reporting this incident incase an employee of your company is missing his Degrassi High tapes. How long has Maxell been around?

I have also wondered what the difference between Gold and Silver tapes are. I know that there is not gold or silver in either one, but I am curious at their difference. I have collected an extensive amount of Maxell Points over my years of loyal purchases from your company, but they are no longer valid (I know, they have not been valid for a few years)... Can we work something out ??

I look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,
