Dear Sir or Madam,

A friend of mine recently informed me that it was possible to purchase previously issued Vancouver Province papers.

     I have a bit of a problem:

I am house sitting for a friend of mine, and, more importantly, I have been watching the “family pet” (a parrot named Reggie). The parrot has become extremely stubborn around me. His cage is lined with newspaper (more specifically, the comic section from your November 16th 2000 paper). The parrot really enjoys the comics, and refuses to have the cage lined with anything else. I have taken out the comics before (they need to be disposed of, the cage is filthy), but every time I do, Reggie gets upset and starts into dramatic verbatim of the ending to “Titanic”. At his peak, he screams "DONT YOU LEAVE ME JACK". He also refuses to eat until that specific section is put back into the cage.

What I would need from you is about 15 issues of the November 16th 2000 paper (or just the comic section). I would leave the paper in there, but it is really starting to smell.

If you could please write back to me and inform me of how much it would cost to have these issue printed out, I would be most appreciative. When I lived in Vancouver, I was a subscriber of your paper, and enjoyed every issue but the one against marijuana use.

Sincerely Yours,
