Dear Cardinal:

The following letter I have written addressed to the pope. I have sent out a couple copies of this letter to various officials around the Vatican to read. I am attempting to gain specific feedback on an issue I have regarding the daily lives of everyone around us. Please respond at your earliest convenience.

Your Holiness:

My name is NAME USED, and I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba. First of all, let me thank you for reading this letter! I am sure your time is in great demand, so I will make this as brief as possible.

Like you, I too am in a position of authority where my main duty is to govern over a sect of likeminded individuals and guide them along an uncertain path. I recently became a Class B Dungeon Master. I can empathize with what it is like to have sleepless nights, hoping those under my guidance avoid falling prey to the daily, diluted evil that surrounds them. You, I, and James Brown know what it is like to be the hardest working man in our field. I am sure I could on and on about how similar you and I are, but I do intend to keeps this letter brief, for your sake.

I have had a thought in my head for ages now, and I wanted to get your opinion, and hopefully, your support. I believe that we should refer to all married individuals as Mrs. So-and-So. I think we should disavow the practice of reserving this title solely for women. “Why”, you might ask? Well, on a few recent occasions, I have been informed that many of the women from my work wanted to ask me out. I wear a ring on every finger on my hand, so unfortunately, none knew that I am unwed, and it was this lack of information which prevented them from pursuing their interest. With the practice I am proposing, a situation like this can be avoided.

If you could kindly respond with your thoughts on this matter; your endorsement would mean a lot to me, and the movement.
.

Praying for a future,
